Date Night

Tonight Cheryl and I got to watch Isaac for a little this evening. He and Zoe had their first date night with dinner in the kitchen. Zoe was upset that her parents wouldn't leave the two of them alone, but they're young and they needed a chaperone. Partly because of all the kissing that goes on in this house when we're not here, partly because Zoe's an aggressive head grabber and partly because Isaac can be a sneaky sweet potato thief. They had a lovely meal together along with several cookies at the end. When I asked Isaac if he had a good time, this is what he did. I'm sure Zoe and Isaac will have lots more meals in their future. You can check out Zoe's set on Flickr to see these and other pictures.

11 Months Old

For those who don't know, Zoe stays at home every day with her nanny and her "boyfriend" Isaac. They are both cute by themselves, but together, they are super adorable. Just take a look. Our Little Miss turned 11 months old on the 15th. She's getting so big! She walks around her playroom with her stroller so much, I'm sure that she'll just start walking any moment. With that, I offer to you a random selection of playroom cuteness and monthly milestones. I just can't get enough of that sweet baby face. You can check out Zoe's set on Flickr to find these and many, many more pictures.

Florida or Bust

Last week we all flew down to Florida to visit with Nana and Poppy. We didn't take off until Zoe had a nice helping of scrambled eggs from the airport. She loves scrambled eggs! This wasn't Zoe's first flight and she was a dream. She slept for more than half of the flight there. Once we were down there,we did our best to take advantage of the weather. Back in Philadelphia the high was in the mid-40's and it was going to snow, but in Hudson it was in the 70's. We took plenty of walks in the neighborhood. Zoe was also enjoying Nana's large tub. She really loves the water. During our visit we took an outing to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park . I found this place online because they have a live mermaid show. Along with that there were peacocks, an animal show and a river boat ride. Zoe seemed to enjoy it all. There is a heated pool in Nana and Poppy's community, which I was anxious to take Zoe to. She's never really been in a pool bef

First Sleepover

So, you have one guess. Tell me what's wrong with this picture? No, it's not the white balance, even though that may be off a bit. Zoe's not here! That's right. On Friday night Cheryl dropped Zoe off to spend the evening at Mimi and Joe Pop's. Apparently she had a great time and slept from 8:00pm to 6:00am, which is awesome. We enjoyed the downtime and look forward to more sleepovers in the future. We missed our little pea so much that we probably went a little overboard today taking pictures and videos. Here's a sampling of what we captured. And here are a couple of videos. So that was our weekend. It was pretty awesome. Now we're just packing up to get ready to head down to Florida. Can't wait! Don't forget to check out Zoe's set on Flickr for all of these pictures and more.
