Last week we all flew down to Florida to visit with Nana and Poppy. We didn't take off until Zoe had a nice helping of scrambled eggs from the airport. She loves scrambled eggs!
This wasn't Zoe's first flight and she was a dream. She slept for more than half of the flight there. Once we were down there,we did our best to take advantage of the weather. Back in Philadelphia the high was in the mid-40's and it was going to snow, but in Hudson it was in the 70's. We took plenty of walks in the neighborhood.
Zoe was also enjoying Nana's large tub. She really loves the water.
During our visit we took an outing to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. I found this place online because they have a live mermaid show. Along with that there were peacocks, an animal show and a river boat ride. Zoe seemed to enjoy it all.
There is a heated pool in Nana and Poppy's community, which I was anxious to take Zoe to. She's never really been in a pool before, so I was worried that she wouldn't like it. I was very pleased to see that she appeared to like it as much as I do.
It was a really great trip. We also went to Tarpon Springs, the sponge capital of the world, where Zoe had her first ice cream. Black Cherry in a waffle cone.
We did a lot of hanging out around the house. Zoe ran us ragged crawling all over the place, but she's so cute that she easily got away with it.
The flight back was even better because Zoe slept the entire time from before take off until after we landed. Be sure to check out Zoe's set on Flickr for all of these pictures and much more.
