Linvilla With Royalty

This past weekend the three of us joined the Millers, including Prince George, also known as G4, in a trip to Linvilla Orchard. We got there nice and early, which was good because the place filled up fast. Zoe wasn't in the best of moods, but she seemed to brighten up a bit hanging out with the dashing young Miller. There were lots of pumpkins, so we made sure to stock up ourselves. It's what you would expect to find in Pumpkinland. Zoe obliged us with some good poses. They have a nice big play area with slides, wooden trains and planes and even a metal horse. Of course, the only thing Zoe could do for the first 15 minutes was pick up all of the apples that had fallen from the trees and deposit them into the giant tire. After she felt the area was sufficiently picked up, then she was ready to play. Zoe loves to climb, which is nothing new. She was able to climb up the ladder of one of the larger slides, with only parental supervision, and then slide back down. Yo

Three Cousins In Sea Isle

This weekend my brothers and I all met down in Sea Isle City with our families to hang out for the weekend. Everyone went down on Friday night except for us because Zoe had her first gymnastics class at 9:00am on Saturday morning. It was a good thing we didn't skip it because she loved it. I took a couple of pictures with my cell phone of her hanging on the bars. Right after class, we had the car loaded up and hit the road. We made it down to Sea Isle just after 11am. Once we got down there, Zoe needed a nap, and, apparently, so did her uncles because they were sleeping too. After everyone got up, the kids hung out for a little while in the house. Now that everyone was nice and awake, we packed up a whole bunch of stuff, along with the kids, and headed over to the beach. The kids seemed to really enjoy the beach. There was sand, water and birds for everyone. There was even some off-road driving, which everyone enjoyed. At one point, Uncles Joe and Andy dec

Fun In The Sun

Cheryl and I took a few days off this past weekend to visit with her parents down in Florida. We left early Thursday morning and Zoe was very well behaved on the flight. As soon as we got there we did some swimming, which was a constant every day. On Friday we packed into the car and went to the zoo. Zoe seemed to enjoy hanging out with the animals and she took some time to feed a giraffe. Unfortunately I didn't wait to pose properly, so the pictures of that aren't very good. She also took two rides on the carousel.  Once on a stationary animal and then again on one that moved. I couldn't tell if she liked one more than the other, but once it got going, she seemed more happy than scared. It was so hot out that as we were leaving, since we had a change of clothes for her, Cheryl took her for a dip in the fountain. It's hard to say which one of them enjoyed it more. As I said, we went to the pool every day. The weather was great and as long as you s
