This past weekend was opening weekend for the pool. The weather was warm, but somewhat cloudy, and the water was freezing, but that did not deter us from enjoying all that the pool has to offer. I attempted to wade slowly in to the water twice, and twice I stopped when the water reached just above my knees. In order to get over that, I used the slide to throw myself under the water, where I let out a quick shout before surfacing. Once in, the water was fine and Zoe was super excited to swim around with and without her floatation devices. On Sunday morning I told Cheryl that she could sleep in until noon, assuming that such a thing would still be possible for her. My plan was to take Zoe over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to show her the waterfall, the fountains, some of the paths and to possibly go in to the museum.
